Solid State Symphony | Indiginus

I've been using this for a few days now, very useful.
Inexpensive & handy for getting ideas down quickly & for film / orchestral mock-ups.
Works great as pads or along with other higher end libraries.

Sounds pretty good for what it is, Carl. And the price is very nice for someone that wants to wade into the orchestration pool. If I had money to toss about, this might be a nice little gizmo to add to my expanding orchestra titles!

Thanks for this, Carl.  I probably never would have stumbled across it by myself.  I do wish there was a bit more info on the Indiginus site ... like what was sampled to create these sounds.  Hopefully more information will be found in documentation.  For 40 bucks, though, I'm buying this thing anyway.  If it sounds as good on my DAW as the demo tracks make me think it will, I'll be one happy camper.

I like the Indiginus stuff I already have, the mountain dulcimer, acoustic guitar collection, Torch electric guitar and some of the $5 stuff. If the quality of those products is anything to go by I reckon this one will be worth $40.

This is an upgrade from a 2006 version. I have the original and it was a very good buy! There is an upgrade patch if you have your original sales receipt. I’m off to look for mine now.

    Updated / New features:

-Added expression (CC#11) control of volume, individually adjustable per element.

-Added high velocity range setting for each element (rather that just low velocity).

-Big Drum. Big cinematic boominess. Can be played across keyboard or in Rhythm sequencer.

-New orchestra, pad, and rhythm presets.

-You can now load custom samples in specially labelled Groups for use in PitchMod and Gated Pad elements.

    -New preset nkis.

Email with your original purchase data to get the link.

BTW make sure you don't overlook the preset folder in the update. Otherwise you'll only load the main nki's (Strings & 2 Symphony's)

    Just buy Indiginus' stuff.

Lots of it is cheaper than a night out at the pub or a trip to the cinema and it's top stuff. And the chap who runs the place is one of the nicest blokes in the industry and a supremely talented samplist and muso and someone I am proud to call 'friend'.

    Cheers

I delayed getting this until after finishing setting up my new DAW. I downloaded it earlier.

This sounds great and is FUN and well worth $40
