Sonar X2, Drums plotted in step sequencer, how do I convert to audio file?

I'm working on drums for a song of mine, I'm very new with Sonar in general, and I've programmed the drums using the Session Drum 3 Step Sequencer, but how do I get an audio file out of it that I can mix with my guitars parts?

Thanks to everyone who helps!

It should do it automatically when you Mixdown/Export but you can also "Bounce" the MIDI. I think you right click on the MIDI track and the option is there.

I haven't done that yet though so I might be wrong. I've always just mixed the MIDI drums with everything else and Exported the final results.

bounce to track .  Drag the step sequencer patterns onto the appropriate vst instrument midi track and you can either mix them there as you would audio or convert them in place with 'bounce to track'

A useful tool for 'seeing' midi waves is also to toggle the wave preview button on the masterbus track

You don't need to convert to audio if you don't want to right away. You can record and mix and then just export the project.

But if you'd like to convert to audio, select the Session Drummer 3 track, choose Tracks > Bounce To Tracks from the Track view menu, and then choose Tracks as the Source Category in the Bounce To Tracks dialog box. Click OK.

That should create a new audio track with the Session Drummer 3 performance.

You

Thanks everyone for your replies. I tried right clicking, and clicking "bounce to clip(s)" but it didn't do anything. Is there another way to get my plotted drums in the step sequencer to be in the form of an audio file?

You can also select the relevant measures in the timeline and then choose "export" from the file menu. The options in the export dialog are pretty straightforward, just make sure you select the track that you have the drums on.

But why do you need to export the drums to audio to mix them with guitar parts? Do you plan to mix your song in another program?
