X2a audio engine and freezing issue SOLVED

Just installed the patch and did the reset/re-scan of the VST's like I was instructed.  No problems with patch installation.

Started working on a project that included Session Drummer and nothing else.  When trying to play back a drum-loop the audio engine stops at random times and has to be reset before I can get the loop to play again for between 1 and 5 seconds before it stops again.  When it stops, the Performance CPU meters also freeze.

Is it possible that, because this was a pre-patch project, Sonar just doesn't like it anymore?  I'm grasping at straws here.

Thanks guys.

Duke

SOLUTION: The latency on my sound interface was set too low.  I moved it up a couple of notches and completely eliminated the problem.  Whew!  I was getting frustrated.

Have I described this poorly or asked a stupid question?
