This is a great gift from Cakewalk. THANKS
It's a little confusing jumping through the sign up/sign on routine-but worth the effort.
I have purchaced a number of the Groove 3 vids in the past and they are consistantly first rate. Eli Kranzberg (sp?) does a super job on the Sonar x2 explained and the "Tips and tricks" vid.
Just wanted to say thanks....thats all...

This is something I can really use. I am gonna go through the Ozone and some izotope stuff. maybe check out some other videos. I already have the Sonar videos. I have wanted to learn a little more about Ozone and this will come in handy.

    Thank You Cakewalk

yes it is superb. the sonar x2 explained has taught me so much about stuff that i was needing to use workarounds for.
setting the off snap value, snap offsets, fx chains, prv the list goes on. i would recommend watching all the chapters on x2 explained as it
really does go deep and every video i watched was a "oh i didnt realise what you could do with that" or "i was wondering where that menu had disappeared..

it will be above downloads danny in the account page on the store. copy the redeem code and go onto their website if the redeem link does not work.

so much other stuff in there as well for other bits of kit. all watchable on apple hardware which is nice.

I had some difficulty getting it to work. I tried several times to log in with the code. Each time I restarted from the link in the Cake store. After 4 or 5 times I was successful. It was a little quirky.

Ah my apologies swiller and bluz...I'm not having probs with the Groove 3 pass...I posted in the wrong section. There are free pro artist audio loops that turned up in my account and when I click the download link, I get a bad link page. I saw the title of this thread and only read the "groove" part. So sorry.

Yes, thanks Cakewalk. This is a most excellent freebie.  I went through the z3ta+ 2 tutorial this morning and learned a lot.  This from a guy who learned most of his synth programming on z3ta+ 1.  Look forward to going through the SONAR, Absynth, and BFD tutorials and maybe some others if I have time.  I can get around pretty well in SONAR, but I know there are a lot of features I've never touched and probably several shortcuts for things that I do daily.

They call 'em fingers, but I've never seen 'em fing.

Do you guys know any trick to download the videos?

If watched with Internet Explorer, do they remain in the cache so they can be watched Off-Line?

There are various free program's to record what you see on screen ,  is one way of doing it.
The quality is as per original recording.  You can always set a few hours aside to watch when you are online as they intended.

Nice!!! They give us a gift and some recipients want to pirate the videos. If you want to download them, buy 'em  or at least be a little more discrete about it.

    1) For some reason I can not be online all the time
    2) Once the "gift" is redeemed, The All Pass expires in a month. I don't have time in one month to watch (and learn) everything I want.
    3) I would like to keep the videos for future reference.

Well, if you want to keep the videos for future reference, buy them and download them.  The "gift" is a one-month subscription to view as many videos as you can in that time, not the ability to download every one of their videos so you can watch them at your own leisure.  (That would really be a bad deal for Groove3 if you think about it.)

None of us have time to learn everything we want in a month, but even as it is I feel the "gift" is quite generous.  I don't know what you expect for a free add-on to SONAR.  I think it's an awesome preview that just may inspire me to pick up a few more of their videos in the future.  I like what I've seen so far and I know I won't be able to get through everything in a month, but I do feel that I'm getting a helluva preview of the quality and content of their videos.

They call 'em fingers, but I've never seen 'em fing.

+ 1 I agree with Rocky on this. buying the video supports the company and they will make more videos in the future. If you don't find the video useful then don't buy it. If it has helped you and you want a copy for future use then support Eli and everyone else that works hard on these things.
