I am sorry, I could not listen for more than a few seconds. I really do not enjoy this kind of country music (or much of any kind of country, but this kind in particular).

This is a very clean recording with no artifacts in the mix. It's so different from the last song I heard from you that it shows amazing versatility. I also listened to the following song "California Wives" which I like even better and is 180 degrees from "Journey of the Heart". If you're writing all these songs, you're doing an amazing job.

I knew straight away it was BIAB, I've heard those licks in Herb's (Guitarhacker) songs. The mando, guitar and vocals are nicely done, and the mix is good.

Thank you! Yes I write my own stuff although California wives is not mine. You may have confused someone else's song for mine. The versatility is a good and bad thing. I do this for fun but a professional recently told me that I lack focus. The versatility is also a sign of age. It reflects all the genres I have listened to and been influences by over the years.

I listened to your song again and a different song came up, and I noticed that "California Wive" at the bottom of the page by someone else. Regardless, the second song was still good.

I have no issues admitting to using BIAB. It is like hiring a session musician. I use a program because I cant afford the real thing.

Sweet tune and sounds to me like a nice mix. The mando and fiddle really stand out and bring a tear :)

I like it lots. When I was a kid I worked in a tobacco store for about a year. The owner was an old guy that constantly listened to his only “album” - Hank William’s Greatest Hits. I heard it non-stop for hours each day. I grew to really love that music and this has a bit of that flavor. It surely reminds me of good times (Hank W, smoke, the smell of tobacco - yes, as far as I am concerned it was wonderful). This is a terrific mix, a direct to the point tune and the vocal is just right. Nice going.
