bug?

hey so I am trying to cut up some takes in the take lanes to consolidate a vocal and I keep getting this problem

when i hold alt and click, instead of cutting the track on the take lane i clicked on, it seems to cut the next one above... however if i have any empty take lane and click on that, it does not cut the one above....

can somebody confirm this?

Lanes seem to have different "issues" for each user.
I frequently can't slip edit or apply fades.
Close project, re-open project generally "fixes" it.
One of the reasons I feel X2a is just not "ready for prime time".
I'm using it for my projects, but NO WAY would I use it for a paid project; yet.
X1d Expanded on Win 7 x64 is a "mature" and robust platform, X2 will get there.

Often when I select a zoomed clip for editing it darts up the track list for no apparent reason.  Ctrl -Z brings it back then all is normal for me. I use S for split and though and mostly split at bar lines located by keyboard rather than mouse.

Yes, confirmed. I've resorted to locking ALL tracks that are not currently being edited to avoid this. If you do not know how to do this: Multi select all the tracks not being currently edited > open the Inspector of one of the tracks > click the Clip tab at the top > hold Ctrl and click on the Lock dropdown then select "Pos/Data". Then unlock tracks as you need to but remember to lock the track you have just finished editing.

It is an enormous PITA but that's the best I can come up with.

Oh and this only started happening with X2 (build 306). I haven't done any editing since I've installed the Quickfix so I'm not sure if that solved it but it was not on the list of fixes and I'm avoiding the X2a patch... but this issue was still not listed in those fixes either.

Doesn't seem to affect everyone though so I don't what's up.
