Vintage can be good if you are a wino... I've known a few vintage winos. They were OK as long as you never, ever pull the bottle out of the paperbag.
I worry about my grand daughters' hearing.
The OP reminds me of how guitarists are obsessed with "their tone" and 99+% of their audience just hear a "guitar".
Also... in the diagram, they forgot the Antares unit that makes everything sound like .99 before it ever gets to the MP3 stage...
