Adding Additional samples

How do I do the following in Sonar x2?
I have  a drum track that I want to add additional kick samples to.
I have split the  kick track into individual clips using audiosnap.
I then imported the new kick samples and have them at the first kick ready to add.
Now here is the problem I don’t want to add each sample one by one. Is it possible to paste the new samples so that they will  line up with the original kick track?
I see in a video that Protools can do this by selecting the sample tracks plus the original track and using the Tab key and paste it add the samples quickly and trimmed to the correct length.


Testing I found that everything works except when  I paste the new clip after pressing the tab which I can move from clip to clip  the clip does not extend to match the length of the clips I split-up in audio snap.
Great way to add additional sample to beef up snare and kick if it would work. Anyone.
