How to record from m-audio fast track line input 2 (guitar) in Music Creator 6 ?

I changed my music creator from a Windows 7 32bit notebook to a new Windows 8 64bit.

In the previous notebook I've been recording from my guitar in m-áudio fasttrack line 2.

Now, when I click in the record button using the same track in the same Project I recorded the guitar performance using the old notebook, nothing happens...

MIDI (using a controller) is recording without problems...

I noticed that Audio devices preferences pages is only "line 1 (microphone)" option available.
I'm using ASIO driver mode.

I'm using the latest Windows driver for FastTrack (Audio version 5.10.00.5133)

All other features of Music Creator seems to be ok in the new computer.
I uninstalled Music Creator in the previous notebook (I have only 1 license...) and, thus, I cannot compare the configurations.

Thanks everybody...

    I found a workaround:

Changing from ASIO to WDM/KS I got recording guitar sound from line 2 (right fast track on 1/2).

It's not the best solution, but I can use it while I don't have the solution to use ASIO Driver.

which version of MC are you using?

You should be able to run ASIO OK.... so something is not quite as it should be.

And, you didn't need to remove MC from the old computer as long as you still own it. Cake does allow you (for personal use) to have MC on 2 computers.... such as a desk top and a lappy.... or 2 lappys..... So you can reinstall it if you desire and they are good with that.
