fretboard questions

hi everyone, does anyone know of a tutorial on "fretboard and tablature"? as i understand it the notes i'm playing on guitar should show on the fretboard. am i right or just expecting too much?

    What do you mean? The Tablature View will display MIDI notes of the current piece in Tab. The Fretboard View will show those notes at the current Now Time.

    It's all MIDI. You have to select certain settings though because the program can't translate things exactly where they should be intuitively because of the nature of the guitar.

    It's a little flawed and awkward.

    If you mean for an audio part... no. It most certainly will not create tab for that.

    yeah if your using a roland GK pickup. As Beepster says its basically midi. The Roland guitar synths will convert your audio signal to a midi signal or you can get a you rock guitar which will project midi notes. (acts as a midi controller)


    You cannot take a normal guitar and play notes that register on the fretboard.
