Files Won't Open in Sonar X1

How do I get Sonar X1 to be the default program for Cakewalk files?
I went through the 'open with' menu & navigated to X1 & the files still want to open in Sonar 3.

    Please list the exact file type you were trying to assign to X1.

    If you are talking about a project file, why wouldn't you start X1 and then open the project from within X1?

    You can just right click the CWP folder with per project ot the CWB file iself and chose "open with"

    Every time I tried that it opened in Sonar 3.
    I went into 'regedit' HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT etc... & noticed that the open command was pointed to the Sonar 3 folder which contains the same .exe as Sonar X1 'SONARPDR.EXE'. I changed this to point to the Sonar X1 folder & now it works.
