    the previous 'supergroup' he took part in, was truly a supergroup.

    one of my favorites, in decades.

    I agree with Bat up there.
    What the hell are they going to do with 3 drummers, 5 guitar players (hard enough to get 2 to agree on something), 2 bass players, a hand full of singers and John Fogerty?

    Word is that Stevie Nicks has joined the circus jumped the shark drunk the Kook-Aid signed up.  Any day now, Dave should be announcing that Milli Vanilli is on board, too.  When he lands the guys from Flock of Seagulls, then we'll really have a show.

    The Traveling Wilburys....there's another one. They put out some fairly decent stuff but none of it was a patch on any of the band member's own efforts.

    I always thought that what made the Wilbury's fairly good was that Jeff Lynne wanted to hear and see it ... and get it done ... and he succeeded with George's help, because otherwise half of those folks would not have bothered showing up! And no one would have listened to it, like they had not before!

    To tell you the truth I was never a Foo Fighters fan, but Everlong was a big hit back in the day so you might recognize that. It's a pretty rockin' track.

    Well, Grohl has had supergroups before which worked quite well - like one of my all time favorites, Them Crooked Vultures, with John Paul Jones and Josh Homme (from Kyuss and later Queens of the Stone Age, two other favorites of mine).

    I'm hoping they'll put out a second record soon. Their first one was easily one my top albums this century.
