Post/song . . . DELETED . . .
I have a friend who writes his own R&B/Rap music and he asked if I wouldn't mind being the engineer of this project. I said sure but don't expect much because my knowledge of Rap music is absolutely zero. So he came over around 2:30 with some instrument tracks. Recorded a few vocal tracks and around 7:30 we had this. THANKS much for the ears. R&B/Rap original . . . "GONE" DELETED My favorite part is around 4:33 THE ARTIST ASK FOR THE SONG NOT TO BE POSTED TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL IT COMES OUT ON HIS ALBUM. Kev

Sounds really great here. You have that trunk thumpin' low end going on. Really nice vocals going on as well. Congrats on this. I hear nothing I would change

Hey GRANT . . . Not my cup of tea but it was kind of fun to do something out of the norm. THANK YOU very much for giving this a listen and for the kind words. Kev

Is there a bass line in this song? I can't hear it? I met a black guy who does R&B and he's really good. I'm looking forward to doing a few for him which will be (I'm thinking) in this genera. It sounds like you nailed it :-) What did you use to get the bass to sound like that?

Hey, Kev, This sounds really good, a fresh sounding modern R&B/Rap song with a clean, smooth mix! He sounds great (nice harmonies, too), and you did an excellent job on the production. Cool stuff! Bob

For an old guy I've had plenty of exposure to rap courtesy of my youngest son, so I have a 'baseline' to judge this from, and I have to say it was really quite good... a nice catchy 'Motown' style hook with some convincing rap lyrics. Well done.

Kev, Sounds about right to me. Maybe more energy is needed for the "beats", but other than that you sound right on. Regards, Dan

Hello ROBBIE, BOB, DARYL, PHIL, & DAN . . . THANK YOU very much for your support and ears! At the artist request, he has asked for the recording not to be heard by the public until it comes out on his album. THANKS AGAIN Gents! Kev
