Hey Sonar buddies – I need your input

A big potential opportunity has just come along, and I need to make my Sonar-recorded music sound as good as possible. I been working with it for some time, but I still think that it has issues in terms of mixing and mastering. These are songs for a musical which are being Hey Sonar buddies – I need your input
A big potential opportunity has just come along, and I need to make my Sonar-recorded music sound as good as possible. I been working with it for some time, but I still think that it has issues in terms of mixing and mastering. These are songs for a musical which are being reviewed soon.
Take a listen to easily accessed MP3’s at:

I am specifically interested in hearing thoughts on mixing/sonic treatment issues. The music itself varies in style and is tied to the show/characters, so making changes in the music/style is not really the focus here – but maximizing the mix is.

    Very creative.

It sounds too MIDIish if you know what I mean. Better samples would go a long way. Your voice is cool and with a little reverb adding some space it would sound very nice.

For the overture the strings sound awful, sorry. The idea is superb. This could be a really nice musical.
