Need help with soft synths

My trusty old XP machine died, RIP. I am now running MC4 in 32 bit mode on a newer machine running Windows 7, with a Lexicon Omega Audio/Midi Interface . This is a Toshiba Laptop with an AMD Turion 64 Dual core, with 2 gig RAM, and a 250 gig hard drive. I am using MME 32 bit rather than AISO. I could never get the AISO to work for some reason, so I've just always run it this way.

I was able to load NI B4 II without issue. When I installed it, I was asked which program I wanted to associate with it and I chose MC4. No problem. However I didnt get the "which program" prompt with NI Alecia's Keys, EZ Drummer, Melodyne, or NI Kore. None of these are avialable as choices in the Plug-in Manager. When I do a scan in the plug in manager, I see it scanning EZ Drummer, but it never appears as a choice. B4 II, and TTS1 are under DXI in the Plug-in Mgr. When I start MC4, I also see EZ Drummer being scanned. It's been a long time since I set that old machine up and I seem to be missing something. Any ideas/help will be greatly appreciated.

    Is your OS 64-bit?

    1. Right-click on the setup file
    2. Go to Properties | click the Compatibility tab
    3. Check the box Run in Compatibility Mode and Run this Program as
Administrator. Leaving Windows XP (SP3) selected.
Do this for the installer and Music Creator icon.
Hopefully this workaround will let you install and run Music Creator 4
    on Windows 7 without issues.

"What Cakewalk programs can I install under a 64 bit Operating System?
Any application that is specifically supported under Vista or Windows 7, has also been approved to function under Vista x64 or Windows 7 x64 (in 32-bit emulation mode). This means that if an application such as: Guitar Track Pro 4, Music Creator 5, or SONAR Home Studio 7 does not list 64-bit OS support on the packaging or system requirements, this is only referring to native 64-bit support. Unlike SONAR, the aforementioned programs contain only 32-bit versions of the program, whereas SONAR contains separate 32-bit and 64-bit applications on the disc.
If you are running a 32 bit program under an x64 Operating System you should expect it to work just as well as running under a 32-bit OS; however, you will not see the same benefits as a SONAR x64 user, such as increased RAM utilization. 32-bit applications are still limited to accessing 2-3GB of RAM even in a 64-bit environment."

I am selling my MIM Fender Stratocaster HSS, red and black. PM for more details.

Music Creator 2003, MC Pro 24, SONAR Home Studio 6 XL, SONAR  X3e, CbB, Focusrite Saffire, not enough space.
    Everything is better with pie.
