Help!!! Error inserting Broadcast wav files into X2

If anyone can help with this. I am mixing a friends project. It was tracked in Pro Tools 10 so I had him export the individual tracks into wav files for me. They are actually broadcast wav files. Anyway when I insert them into X2, it creates tracks for each wav and shows that the audio files are loading; however when they finish loading there is nothing showing up in the tracks. Also nothing plays back as the project will not play nor advance at all. I have checked and unchecked the "import broadcast wav files at their time stamp" box under preferences/audio data and there is no change. Is this a glitch in X2 or am I missing some other setting???
