Thanks for the tip. I will have to watch that later.  Is there any Sandy Denny in there?

I recall seeing Martin Carthy back in the 70's,  twice within a month, first time he was with Steeleye Span in a big(ish) venue to several thousand people and next in a small pub at the Cornwall Folk Festival to an audience of a few dozen. Two very different events and he was excellent in both.

Martin Carthy is truly excellent. I was besotted with his music about 10 years ago when I first moved to New York, so all my first memories of Manhattan are colored by the fact that I had this old English folk music playing on my cans. Quite the contrast. I absolutely love his guitar style and have tried for many years to get that sound but have never quite managed it. This tune for me sums up Carthy's guitar feel, it's absolutely fantastic.

    Hi,

I'll catch this ... Robin Williamson, also has a really good story and view of these days ... and funny/neat things to say about many of these people. He had a great historical sense, and showed it at least once ...

As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!
