Will ToonTracks EZ Keys Midi Pack Work With Any Piano VST?

If anyone has purchased an EZkeys MIDI pack, can you tell me if you can simply use the MIDI information with any Piano VST (e.g. TruePianos)?

    If you have Ezkeys (the program) yes - you just export the midi to the True Pianos midi track. If you don't own Ezkeys, no you can't

    If you have Ezkeys (the program) yes - you just export the midi to the True Pianos midi track. If you don't own Ezkeys, no you can't

    I'm surprised you can even buy the EZKeys MIDI pack without owning EZKeys since EZKeys is required to use the EZKeys MIDI packs.

    dlesaux: The MIDI packs are not conventional MIDI files. They are a propitiatory format to EZKeys only. But once you have EZKeys I would say you may not want to export the MIDI to True Pianos in that IMO the piano provided in EZKeys is better than True Pianos. Again, that's just an opinion. I happen to not use the EZKeys piano as I own Ivory II which has better pianos (again IMO).

    Thanks for your responses guys! I own EZdrummer and multiple MIDI packs. I guess I could have answered my question myself! Same concept..

    So far, there's nothing in EZkeys that would be useful to my style of music which is why I don't own it.. (yet)..

    Bapu, I just purchased the full version of TruePianos and I'm really digging it. I know it's not real piano samples but more of a "glorified" version of a piano..  I like it though.. Works well with what I'm working on right now (a sort of progressive metal genre).. Thanks for your keen insight as usual!

    Actually, IMO, that is not true ("same concept"). The Toontrack drum MIDI pack files do not actually require a Toontrack product as they are true ".mid" files and could be opened by just about any MIDI sequencer (that can access .mid files). However, understanding the structure of their MIDI folders is best accomplished by the Toontrack grooves browser... but you get my drift.
