scrolling in record/playback

The screen has stopped scrolling in record or playback, and I haven't been able to find where to change that setting.  Thanks!

Right on. That was one of the first things I harassed the forum about. There's a way to do it in one of the menus too IIRC but I'd have to dig through my notes. There are different scrolling modes too like smooth scrolling and stuff.

You know what... I gotta find that menu or it's gonna bug me all night. lol

Darn... can't find it. Maybe it was in X1 and got dropped in X2.

You can also right-click in the upper portion of the Time Ruler.

If you click in the Clips pane of the Track view or the Notes pane of the Piano Roll view during playback, SONAR will stop scrolling because it thinks you want to editing something.

If you don't want this to happen, choose Options > Click Behavior > Left Click Locks Scroll from the Track view menu.

Hi, Scott. Am I mistaken that Sonar used to have more in depth scrolling options like smooth scrolling vs. page by page scrolling and scrolling begins in the middle of the screen or left/right? Stuff like that? I could have swore I read that somewhere. Quite possibly in X1 Power in fact. Maybe I just dreamed that. lol

    Cheers.

    Hey Beepster,

Yeah, unfortunately that was a dream. Would be nice to have those features though.
