"Slide Over Old to Make Room" does not slide markers

"Slide Over Old to Make Room" does not slide markers

Hello All, I'm not sure if this is supposed to function this way, or if it is a bug.
When choosing Edit|Paste Special; Slide Over Old to Make Room and all the boxes checked (that can be checked) under "What to paste:" my markers don't slide over. Bug or regular function? It would be nice to function this way as it is a pain in the buttocks to use the "Insert Time/Measures" then trim on a project with a lot of edits that need to be dropped in.

    In my opinion, it is either a bug or a very poor design and it has annoyed me many times.

    Just recently I inserted an extra beat into one bar to create a pause after a ritard, and, of course, all my markers after that point were off by one beat.
