8Dio: Steel String Guitar

"Our deep-sampled Steel String Guitar has been released. We deep-sampled (3.000+) one of the best Dreadnoughts on the market and recorded both fingered- and picked playing styles of the guitar, including hundreds of natural fret and release noises. In addition we also created 18 morphed patches which blends the guitar with a variety of other instruments (including Double Bass, Bulbul Tarang, Plucked Grand Piano, Regular Grand Piano, Synths etc)."

Steel String Guitar is in introduction offer ($139) until end of this month - where it goes to normal price ($179).

    I couldn't find any audio demos other than the video tutorial (most of which was annoyingly drenched in reverb and overly bassy-sounding). The somewhat muddy sound reminded of the Indiginus acoustic (which is only $40).

    OTS' steel acoustic remains at the top of my wish-list. Hoping it'll go on sale sometime this year. 


    All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

    As much as I like my 8Dio software, I've already got my OTS Acoustic, electric and lap steel, and I don't think this is going to be something I need.
