iPhone App for SONAR?

Does anyone know of an iPhone app for Sonar, with basic control such as record, stop, start, etc.

There are remote apps for DAWs in general, but not Sonar specifically. Look for:

    Daw Remote

    V-Control Mini

    TouchDAW

    There are lots of them...

Cool!!! I see apps when I look for "DAW Remote" but not "V-Control Mini" or "TouchDAW". I'll give the ones that comes up a try, Thanks Dan!!!

I use V-Control Pro by Neyrinck. I believe it is only available for the iPad, not iPhone. AC-7 Core Mini is a similar app that is available on the iPhone.

Software: Cakewalk by Bandlab; Adobe Audition; Band-in-A-Box audiophile; Izotope Ozone; Encore; Melodyne; Win 10 Pro, 64-bit.

Hardware: Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 2nd; Roland Integra-7; TCE Finalizer; Presonus Central Station, Behringer X-Touch.  Home built i7 with 16 GB RAM, SSDs.

Does anyone know of an iPhone app for Sonar, with basic control such as record, stop, start, etc.

I used Ac-7 on my ipad and the mini version on my iPhone. They worked well with X1 here. There is an ipad app for my sound card that I am playing with but not too excited about -so I will be going back to AC-7 I think. All of these apps use apple bonjour and rpt midi so you have to be selective about which one you use.

I,ve used AC-7 on iPad and iPod touch. Works good for me. Set up can be a little confusing but it workes good once set up. If you want metering you will have to turn that on in the MCU control surface in Sonar.

Looks like I need to go with AC-7 Core Mini for the iPhone. Hopefully I can get the iPad soon and use the big brother app. Thanks everyone for your replies/ suggestions!!!

Oops, I got V-Control mixed up with AC-7, my bad...

There actually are several more, but they aren't easy to find by searching the app store directly. I had better luck using Google, believe it or not.

if you own Windows 8 on your DAW, then there's a nifty iPad app called Splashtop 8 that works nicely in tandem with it.  You get some pretty decent touch screen capabilities too with X2a that are available in Splashtop.

There are some caveats though.  Your DAW screen resolution is changed to match your iPad (since the app echoes the same screen you see on your DAW), and although the touch screen stuff is cool, not everything is available or obvious in the app....yet.

But it's an interesting twist, and one that extends to windows 8 in general
