Who's moving again?
And so my wife decided that she had had enough of our little condo and that we'll be moving into a house, comes May.
We were planning on putting some $ aside to buy something, but she's not enjoying Vegas, and it has a lot to do w/ this place. We need a bigger place so we can invite friends over and all... So we'll probably just rent a house. We've started looking this afternoon...
That's when I realize that I could live anywhere as long as she's there, we have our cats, and I have my little corner to work. I don't hate Vegas. In fact, I enjoy it. I do miss NY, but I get over stuff pretty easily. Home? I don't miss it.
This isn't the nicest apartment, but I've settled in okay. I don't like it, but I simply don't think about it, and days go by... No bugs, no giant spiders, security. I can work on music and play w/ the cats. I'm okay.
One thing I can get excited about is that I'll finally get to work on a proper studio set up, ARC it and all... And we can probably adopt a dog! A boxer or a rottweiler or a dobberman. Or a bunch of them - 2 of each and a dozen cats if it were just me. I'd put the Osbournes to shame... lol
Life isn't that bad, you know... :)

Moving is a pain, but it's good to get into a new place where you and the Mrs. can feel more at home. Good luck with all the stuff that goes with moving.

I used to hate moving. I had a pretty unstable childhood and it went on and on and on.
For a while, I really couldn't stand it anymore, I only wanted to settle down somewhere and not have to move for at least 4 or 5 years.
But being on the road, I've learned to appreciate staying in one place for even just 8 months. So now I'm thinking in terms of 3-6 months. If we rent a house and stay there for a year or two, that's really long term for me. And it'd be great.

Everybody + their brother + their brothers best friend and immediate family are moving here to FL.
Its pissing me off!! I had to drive to Miami today, for an errand... and omfg, the traffic has become like LA.
If I didn't have to work down here, I'd be in the mountains, on a lake, in North Carolina

I'm not sure I'd do well in FL. But then again, I was expecting the same when we moved to Vegas. You guys have internet - I'd be ok I guess....

I've lived in the same building for 7 years. A couple of years ago I decided a change was in order, so I moved into the apartment upstairs.
