X2a stutter, freeze, and crash. Help!

Hey there,

So I'm working on this project in X2a, and at the 17.5 measure mark, the GUI freezes and the audio starts stuttering a 16th second or so loop over and over until Sonar totally crashes and I close it down. I tried renaming it and other ideas, but it kept doing it.

I then tried to make a brand new project, different name, different everything, and it started doing it at the EXACT same spot!

I'm running one instance of ZETA 2+ (Pad1 - OB2) and one instance of Rapture (Basses - E Chorus) as well as a few drum loops.

Can anyone tell me why this keeps happening? I've had files corrupt before, but this seems to be something related to Zeta or Rapture, because as soon as I had the new project arranged exactly like the first project, it started behaving the exact same way and crashing.

This only happens if I play it from the beginning of the track. If I start at any other place in the project, it plays through just fine, but if I start from the first measure and let it play all the way through, it will freeze and stutter and crash at measure 17.5 EVERY SINGLE TIME.

I run Windows 7 with 8gb of ddr3 ram, 7200 rpm hard drive, and a PreSonus Audiobox 44VSL interface.

Any ideas or help would be great, thanks!

So I've discovered that it is Rapture causing the problem. An error report for a crash showed that the fault was the Rapture plug in. When I muted the track, it didn't happen, but I tried it unmuted and, sure enough, it froze and crashed. Does anyone know if there's a fix or update for Rapture? Should I try re-installing? Updating a driver?
