Tell Her She's Okay

Just another pop song.  Rough demo created on SONAR.  Sent to Studio Pros for tracking.  Results mixed and edited on SONAR X1 at home.  Mastered at Blackdog.

Dan, this is boppin'.  Love the vocals, nice arrangement.  How could you not like this song?

The productions sound pretty good as it is,  the sax doesn't pop well for me, but the vocals are the shining star here.

Very fun!  As a lyricist.. I've have to tell you... I like the lyrics!

This is excellent Dan, delightful song and production. Those creamy harmonies are just superb. My only crit is the boxy snare, could use a little more snap, but other than that..loved it.

Quite a nice sound there.... I agree on the snare.

    Interesting topic to write about.

Really nice vocals and brass on this. And the song itself is very positive like it a lot.

My sincerest thanks to everyone.  I much appreciate your positive comments.  You know, I never really did zero in on that snare sound but now that its been pointed out I do see how it really is a bit flat.  Point taken and thanks.

I remember that during the production that sax player ran roughshod over everything leaving it to me to edit out a lot of stuff.  But I guess its better to have too much than too little.  He gave me a lot to work with.

I paid for a female and a male vocalist but the male singer made the mistake of giving me exactly what I asked for instead of what I really wanted.  Although he was a much better singer I ended up doing it myself.
