When Exporting To Audio I just received a...

"Catastrophic Error" in X2a!

1st time ever for this. Don't know what caused it.

2nd try results in mixdown only getting half the song.

4th try finally works right.

I've seen errors but Catastrophic?  no, not yet.... it sounds bad...

So what sound card are you using on that machine?

Taking 4 tries to get the song exported/mixed down, sounds a bit strange.  Was it a particularly big project with lots of synths and FX in the bins or was is a simple small project?

Is this normal, to take more than one attempt to export a project correctly?

Perhaps it was simply a glitch caused by windows..... especially if it has worked fine before this.   I would do a complete shut down..... power off everything. then do a cold boot and try it again. That will clear all the buffers and things out of the computer's memory and allow you to start with a clean slate.

So far it seems to be a Windows glitch. But if it happens again I'll have to investigate further.

    Thanks!

Next time it happens, try a slow bounce.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
