New DAW build upgrading my StudioCat Q6600

I have deleted my original post because it was misinterpreted as a negative comment of Jim Roseberry.  All I was asking was for suggestions regarding the build.  I did comment that I had contacted several different builders, but I certainly did not indicate any problems with Jim.  There are several good commercial builders who specialize in building DAWS. Jim (Studiocat) and Scott (ADK) are the only ones who I generally see post here and gearslutz. There are other professional DAW builders out there.

When I make a significant purchase that I will be working with every day, I feel it prudent to explore all reputable avenues and "kick some tires".  I personally do not feel this is disparaging anyone.

There is nothing wrong with my Q6600 system. It works great.  I use it every day.  I just feel it is the right time to upgrade to a faster system.  The new build is specifically designed for low latency, high track count recording. The more I learn about the art of recording, the more I ask of my  computer.

Jim Roseberry is still in business, and still producing outstanding DAWs at a more than fair price for his years of proven expertise and support. Why wouldn't you buy from Jim again?

No, I don't work for Jim, and have nothing to gain if you buy from him or not. I simply think it is the BEST advice. I've bought from Jim, and have recommended his work to anyone who would listen. Give him a call, he can custom build whatever you need/want, and for surprisingly little more than doing it yourself -- the differences being that Jim will save you time and completely take the guesswork out of the design and provide support if/when you need it.

Of course he is still in business.  Well aware of that.  Great guy, great service.   He is one of the DAW builders I have contacted. I am not asking about who  but rather an overall  take of the build.
    thanks

After considering all factors, I have placed my order with Jim Roseberry. He has always provided excellent service, though truthfully, I have not really needed anything fixed.  I would also say that being a returning customer has its advantages

for what the Behringer name is worth, the X32 and related products (personal monitoring, etc) have been getting great reviews.
I'm looking at that closely, but don't seem to really justify really needing it personally, as I just use my current mixer for input and cue mixes that I send out to smaller mixers for each musician.

Looks like you're getting a great build.  I've been waiting too long to pull the trigger too.  These guys reps couldn't be better around here, or we got a bunch of liars   ha!!

While going thru some records I realized that the Q6600 system Jim built me was ordered in Feb  2008! Five years without a hiccup. It still will run almost any mix I do.
