Summer Rain and Whittington Lock

Hi everyone

Haven't been on here for a while but i thought i would post a couple of jazz numbers we have been working on.

These are both written by Chris Watson and played with his trio. They were recorded live in the studio, but with the lead guitar then overdubbed and on Summer Rain some acoustic rhythm guitar added.

Hope you enjoy

Hi Stuart, link doesn't work for me.

Rik, I have edited the links, hopefully should work now. The old ones seemed to include a #. I just copied the url from the IE header, maybe that doesn't work in the new version of Soundcloud.

    Thanks for letting me know

Hi Stuart, glad you fixed the links, Whittington Lock is a great tune, great guitar playing. All sounds great to me. Summer rain sounds great too, the tune is a bit meandering, sorry.

These are two fine songs, Stuart.  The guitar has a beautiful tone, and the mix sounds very balanced and open.  They should give all jazz lovers a smile.

    All the best,
