New to Virtual Instruments

I want to get my Casio Keyboard into the world of virtual instrumetns. I just want to have the freedom to change sounds when I perform at church. I only understand the basics on how to connect and set up midi equipment. What do I need to get started. Im using cakewalk sonar x2, decent cpu powered laptop and my midi to laptop usb cable. thank you

There are many videos here to get started (explore the go deeper/master class as well)

    http://www.cakewalk.com/C...ONARU.aspx/Get-Started

The "Inserting Synths" video will show you how to start with virtual instruments.

Do take advantage of the Groove 3 one month free viewing pass as well.

You want to connect your Casio to a computer at church and play virtual instruments on the computer using the Casio keyboard?  Is that correct?
