plug in bundles

what your best buy the last year.
i love the izotope bundle i got, and IK 99 bucks was a no brainer
with these 2 bundles i have most of the basics
and have not had to deal with PC{is there a bundle for those}??
any way besides wave's since there are a few issues with the PC versions\
what is you go to plug in for.
single track use__?ozone alloy
master and buss use___?milti band cakwalk version
i would base this choice on a drum  tracks and bass tracks
 chain setups welcome

My best buy's are my waves bundles...

Kramer TTT
CLA Classic Comps
JJP Analogue Legends
Renaissance Maxx

I bought API and the V-Series to round out my SSL (which I love by the way but not new this year).
I also bought the CLA/JJP sig series but just DL'd them this weekend and haven't played with them yet.

Laugh if you must, but I find value in EZMix--which is kind of a poor man's Alloy.  (Which I also have).

Naah!
As a matter of fact they work awesome on Windows 7 64 bit. X1 and X2
Back in XP with version 5 and 6 of Waves I had some issues. But since W7 and version 8 and 9 of Waves, all is well.
I have loads of IK stuff. Out of all my plug-ins THOSE seem to cause them most problems.

I bought the JJP Legends/CLA Classic Comp as a bundle from Audiodeluxe. Got what i thought was a great deal during the end of the year sale. I also bundled X-2 upgrade and Ozone 5.
Ive never had any trouble with a single Waves plug on X-1 or X-2 on windows 7 64bit.

X-3e/X-2a, Windows 7 64bit, Intel i7-2600, 16Gb ram, 4 Tb HDD, 32 inch monitor, RME FireFace UFX, Shure SRH1840 Headphones, KRK Rockit 5 monitors w/ KRK 10 inch sub and 3 Dachshunds.

Not sure if it is my best or worst buy, but I took the plunge on the Ozone 5 + Sonar X2 for $300: Ozone I just LOVE (I had Ozone 3 in the past), but X2 I can't deal with, so I basically paid $300 for ozone (plus the right to a cheaper upgrade to X3). I do LOVE O5, so probably still my favorite software buy of 2012.

ya x2 just bombed  in a session, thank got i switched to x1 before anyone saw, vvocal was where i was wrong forgot the bounce rule , sonar x2 needs a big flashing autosave light with a link to TEc support
O5 gets a +10 for 2012 here too

I haven't yet, but I'm going to upgrade the free Melda Suite of of plug-in's.

22 plug-in's ... free. VST3, 64bit. You get some extra features if you upgrade to the full versions ... only $36 bucks.

I use them all, but the ones I colored are the ones I use most.

Spectrum Analyzer
Autopan
Pitch Correction  (Works better than V-Vocal IMO, but you can't edit like you can in V-Vocal. You just throw it in the FX Bin, twist 2 knobs, and it works.)
Bandpass Filter
Compressor
Equalizer
Flanger
Frequency Shifter
Limiter (Only Limiter I use now)
Loudness Analyzer
Noise Generator
Notepad (VST so you can put it in the FX Bin)
Oscillator
Phaser
RingModulator
Tremelo
Tuner
Stereo Expander
Stereo Scope
Vibrato
Wave Shaper (I use this a LOT)
Utility (Does too much to explain. It's basically Channel Tools on Steroids)

Ozone is really nice, especially Ozone 5 Advanced, but for free, you just can't beat Melda. Especially if your a home user/hobbyist like me.

Melodyne over V-Vocal all day.
Whey you decide that you've had enough of V-Vocal, definitely Head HERE and pick up Editor.
Well worth every penny and more in my book. The DNA is awesome technology.
