Oh wait a minute not with X2a anymore (thank God we've put those to bed, maintenance is so much easier).

Yamaha G100 Stack with 6-10 cabinet... The Cleanest, Clearest guitar amp I have ever owned. Also Fostex cassette 4 track recorder... I use it as a headphone amp now :) It works so why not? I paid $800 back in the day.... if someone wants to bellyache about equipment costs I can only look back at that thing and think... "what was I thinking?"

What is the oldest software that you just can't stop using? You try to give it up but you just find yourself using it again?

Mine is the B4 II
I use the B4II frequently, but I didn't realise how old it is until I just looked it up (2000).  I'm not planning to give it up any time soon.  It's not as good-sounding as the GSI VB3, but it's a lot more versatile.

VB3 is no spring chicken either. I would probably buy it straight away if a 64 bit version was released, but as it stands I don't see it as being any more future proof that B4 II. For versatality Vintage Organs beats both hands down but does not sound as good as either.

A Roland XP-30. It has the same engine as the JV-1080, but also has actual playable keys.

I had one of those.  For the price, it was pretty killer.  I kept the Pop and and Bass & Drums cards, thinking I would sell them separately, but I still have them.  I thought I was going to be composing in the box, but that still hasn't really happened.  And I thought it would be nice to have an all in one workstation to capture ideas on the spot.

The Juno-G looked nice, being able record MIDI and a few tracks of audio.  Still thinking about getting one of those used and matching it up with an SRX-07 board, but then everyone says go with a Fantom X instead, but then the price starts creeping up pretty quickly.

I do have a Yamaha An1x, which I'll hang on to until I get something which provides modeled or real analog sounds.  I've learned my lesson selling things to get other newer things.  There is always something you end up regretting.

If Roland would have included a modeled plugin with the Fantom X series, I'd have been all over that.  Not even the Fantom G has that option...

Yamaha AW4416. It's STILL a great piece of hardware! I now use it as a great Live recorder for gigs where I can pull 16 direct-outs from the FoH board. CD Burner is slow, tho (6x), and I have to keep an extra serial mouse around, ha!
