Another Deep Freeze with -47F Tonight...

... and dense icefog. Hope the car starts tommorow.

Sunday Night will be -53F and I still have to go to work. INSANITY! But I'm used to it by now. The insanity, I mean.

Above 0 temps forcast for next weekend so this should be our last cold spell of the winter.

You might want to close the bedroom window tonight too.

Bedroom window's the least of my worries. It's the trip to the outhouse I'll be dreadin'.

What? He sleeps indoors? How soft's that? Get the tent pitched if it starts to get a bit cold, that's what I say.

I see poor old Pistolpete was taken to hospital suffering from severe hypothermia earlier today.

Apparently, he'd been queuing for three weeks outside his local cinema waiting to see 'Closed For The Winter'

At least I'm not that stupid. I did want to see it when it came on at our local last year. There was a huge queue for it but being a bit cleverer than most I didn't bother queuing. I went back in the summer to see it. Unfortunately it had finished then but rumour has it it's back this year so I might still get a chance. I'll have to check next time I'm passing.

60 degrees or so in New York today. Felt like summer. I had a light jacket with a t-shirt underneath and was too hot.
