Waves Update Plan Reminder

Just a reminder to all..

The Wave Update Plan price goes up to $300 on February 1st.

If you haven't WUP'd yet...and want to save some money, I'd do it now..
I paid $175 at Audio Deluxe...Bonus is you get a $200 voucher, so you make $25 by doing the WUP!!!
And my plugins are good till January of 2015!!!  That's 2 years!!!
SECRET:  Buy a plugin first...then ALL your plugins will go to the Update date of the NEW plugin,
giving you 2 years of coverage for the price of ONE!

Peace!

Whoa. Hold The Phone Hortense (as myolpal would say). I did my WUP with AD on 2 Dec 2012 and I did not get any $200 voucher. When did that take effect? Who is the voucher with? Waves or AD?

I sent a request to AD to see about this.

    Baps,

The Voucher is from Waves...it's always been in effect on the WUP - currently $200

It will be $300 on Feb 1st to reflect the price change...

It's valid for 45 days...I'd check my inbox if I were you because it
    comes automatically from Waves...

If you did it on Dec 2nd it's already expired...

    Larry,

So I caontacted Waves and asked about the voucher. Voucher was issued but expired (as you speculated; notice probably got in the spam folder). Long story short, got SSL 4000 Native for $200 off the current sale price of $479. That was $279 out the door.

    Yay for me.

Good point Baps.... And I do want all three of the Studio Collection...

I just saw where CLA couldn't believe how close to the real thing these are...

    but, then again, he's a "paid" spokesperson...LOL

It will get me one step closer if I do...LOL
Now if they would do with API what they did with the "N" Series and at
least add it to Platinum...I'd be set

CLA is my fav. Mostly because I opened them first and lo and behold they worked.

About the only tweak I make every time on my vocals is the compression. Since I print compression on my voice (typically) the added compression CLA adds is a bit too much.

I'm not a fan of Kramer's series. But that's Just me.

I need to give JJP a run for it's money one of these days.

Oh and the acoustic guitar CLA is dreamy as it can be. Same situation on the compression though.

If you had to decide (assuming only $378 to spend) probably the artist series' would be better money spent over the SSL collection, IMO. YMMV.

    Value for Dollar also...

That would be $1500 for $378 as opposed to $650 for $336...

    Zo,

Buy a plugin...that way ALL your plugins will renew
    for 2 Years....

Otherwise, yes..they would be good for a year from the expiration of the
    NEWEST plugin you got...

If you have Mercury you should have just got IR-Live...so it would
be good for a year from the expiration of that...
