Right-click lasso selecting is acting odd

Excuse the crappy video quality, but I am seeing some odd selections when I'm using the right-click lasso tool (either in smart tool or select tool). Is this a known issue? These are all individual unlooped (but linked) clips, and it seems to occur because they are slightly overlapping. The left-click select works fine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LFUVIITJSA
