Bass Guitar Sound out of RH speaker only.

Hi

Recording my bass guitar using Roland Quad Capture. Sound levels are good but on playback sound is only coming from the RH speaker?
I cant quite remember how I did it previously.  Bad Memory not the PC (ME)
Any help would be really appreciated..
Thanks

Did you record it to a stereo or mono track? You should have used a mono track since a bass is a mono instrument. Use either the Left or Right input, but not the stereo input for the track.

If you did record a stereo track by mistake (the clip should look like two waveforms one above the other),  select the track, Right Click on it and choose "Convert to Mono".

Yeah definitely sounds like you have a stereo input selected.

As a non-native english speaker it took me some time... RH=right hand?? Just in order to add to my vocabulary.

Just as a tip, I routinely screw up and put a stereo plug-in on a Mono track, or vice-versa, and this will cause such weirdness to happen as well. So, I ended up going through my plug-in Manager and separating them in a new layout. Glad you got it worked out!
