firewire to usb adaptor?

 helo ive just got this http://www.alesis.com/io14  and my pc hasnt got a firewire port .. ive looked ive been to maplins and pc world but they dont do an adaptor .. theres a few choices on amozan but im not sure what 2 get . i got the alesis for 30quid and it seems 2 be well rated so i wanna use it if poss ..any ideas what i should do? cheeers

    what type of pc ? a desktop ? just add a Ti based card in the back, if it's a desktop

    if it's a laptop without pcmia card slots..then you can't use it really. you may find a usb / firewire adapter.. but it's not designed for music and I'm about 85% it won't work


    get a USB card if your laptop only has that
