Brilliant work by both of you.

The instrumentation and mix are superb.

Warren, you have a fantastic voice that's so versatile. Hope to work with you again sometime.

"Robby-  Thanks, I think? "

Warren, please stop thinking! It always gets me in trouble. Just play and sing. I did enjoy it?

I love classic covers. Because covers are what we listened to and loved when music was shaping what we enjoyed and became as artists? I'm about to undertake some very ambitious covers... I always appreciate and enjoy when someone releases one of my favorite classics, as those are the ones I like to tackle :-)

However, I like to enjoy people under the covers as well? But that's another thread. (I'M TALKING ABOUT ORIGINALS PEOPLE! as far as you know...)

Warren & Michael,

Great job on recreating one of my favorite songs! Excellent.

I liked the guitar effects. However, the vocals need a lot of work. They are off key and give a dissonance tone. Vocals are always the most difficult though to get right.

Good classic cover, from the Beatles best era.   Great bass tones as always and the guitars really sounded good.  Harmonies very nice.   Nice job guys

Bristol- thank you. Appreciated very much.

Eko- thank you.

Blipp- thank you.

Scotty- thank you.

Geeare1- thank you.

PistlePete- thanky you. The lead was over compressed and the only "effects" used on the two acoustics were subtle rhythmic patterns variations and one having a capo (R). ...and verb.
I have a different opinion of "most difficult" - I think it can be any part at any given time and since there are to many variables on both sides of the board it's usually on a case by case basis. Hearing pitches is much that way too.

Night Fox- thank you.

Lee- thank you. I appreciate your thoughts.

Daryl- thank you.

I do appreciate your time and thoughts. I will be trying to do the same for you all.

The bass is coming on the left, that is fine if that is what you intended. Otherwise, I was a Beatles fan when I was born. Great cover and awesome rendition.

I thought The Beatles mixed the bass on the left.?... Thank you for the kudos.  LOL and it may be
dating me but...I was born and then years later became a fan.

They did mix the bass on the left? I used to listen them in our record player console. They were actually a furniture in the living room, so I did not noticed. Anyways cheers on the great rendition.

Hey, Warren and Michael,

Wow, I almost missed this fantastic cover, but I'm sure glad that I didn't!

Excellent job on all of the instrumentation, Warren's vocals and harmonies were pure dynamite, and the mix sounds clear as a bell and totally pro.

Spectacular work, gentlemen!

Well, guys and gals, I am just now recovering from the worst flu I can remember for years.  Almost 7 weeks now!!!  Thanks to Michael for keeping up with the replies to the great comments.  I want to thank everyone too.  Thanks!  :-)  Back to bed.

Tips are a good thing...

I didn't A/B them, but this mix "kicks ass..." And feels closer to what those British boys did :-)

Good job Warren! It's really one of my favorite Beatles tunes? And this version does seem much better. Your vocal is "excellent." If you need a bass player, give me a call ;-) Us bass players gotta stick together.

Nice!  Brings back great memories.  You guys did a great job on this!  Very nice guitar tones and you nailed all the vocal harmonies.  You really captured the feel of the original.

7 weeks of the flu?  Geez I hope that's all done with now.

Remix sounds great here, those harmonies are awesome. Instruments sound cleaner on this mix. Great job, if I was around when this song first came out, I was probably more interested in Big Birds next hit.

good job!   the right vibe is there.

a couple of nit picks...

One thing I would say is.... that the lead guitar parts need to stand out more in the mix.... and with more presence, ring and sparkle.

Another area is.... that the whole mix sounds heavily compressed or something like that and isn't breathing as much as it should.
