Sneaky Pete..

Copied from Gizmo...thought it was pretty smart.
But while scanning a warzone from miles away is great from a tactical standpoint, unmanned aircraft can be just as useful in the hands of troops on the ground. That's why British soldiers in Afghanistan have been issued several Black Hornet Nanos, a palm-sized UAV that can scout around corners and obstacles for hidden dangers.

I have a friend upstate with one of those RC helicopters that's just a cross shape with a rotor on each point. You can fit a GoPro camera to the bottom which transmits a video feed to a headset. Tremendous fun.

I use one in the forums upstairs.  Of course, it always seems to detect danger, so I just stay out of 'em.

I got one of these for Xmas.  It isn't much bigger than that military one.

I've piled it so many times that I have stability issues now, the helicopter is a bit wobbly too.

    Great fun though.

I shouldn't worry too much, I sometimes have trouble getting mine off the ground, even if I do I normally bump it into something and come crashing back to the ground again seconds later.
