the wildman I think it is very well put together. Listening to this, one gets the impression that it was done accomplished easily. A good sign of talent. I know it must of taken a lot of work, time and effort to attain. Well done I say! I can assure you it was not done easily! amateur Excellent, very alive and upbeat, clean, tasty. Gracias. chuckebaby James i listened to this the day you posted it as you might have been able to tell i made some comments on soundcloud but i backed off leaving a comment because of debates we having,im sorry. i imagine you listening to my music with the same interpretation as I listening to your's,we have different styles and different approaches to engineering.mixing,mastering. this is top notch.I was really blown away by it the first day you posted it. real catchy song too.if you listen to it enough times that vocoder part really gets stuck in your head and its almost impossible to get it out,i had to listen to a whole alice n chains CD which finally did the trick and extracted it nicely.but still found myself humming this song. thats when you know you got a good one. your singer is just awesome, you'll have to forgive me because i have never heard of him before, but by the way others are talking he sounds well known and it shows. im a real sucker for this type of music, contrary to popular belief one might think i eat nails, have sex then write songs :) i can tell good music when i hear it,this is it man. theres only one part im not found of,its @ 2:03 the way the break stops and he says Dark..ness,i just feel the "ness" seems a little out of place, but thats only personal preference.
Actually, that is a cut and paste job...originally he sang it straight through, but then I decided to repeat that measure twice more...then clip the "ness" past of darkness and set it apart for effect. If Cian was still around I would have made him re-do it, but as he was leaving for his world tour, I made best with what he gave me. i can never seem to critique your mixes, there always too good. thats why when you give me advise i listen. i repect you as a musician,i wish i knew you good enough to say i respect you as a person, but i respect your advise because of what i have heard in your mixes. This is something i would definetly buy, something i could become attached to as well. i give you credit for that :) No issues with disagreeing, Chuck, that is what makes artists cool. We view the world and report it as we see it. And funny, the "our black regalia" vocal riff was the only melody idea that I wrote that stayed...Cian came up with the rest of the melody.

Just to clarify, I didn't mean to suggest that it actually was easy, but rather that, you make it seem effortless because it is so well done. ( like when some one says ' wow, you make it look so easy'. It's an English expression used as a compliment). I'm sure it would have taken a lot of skill and hard work to accomplish something this good! Wouldn't want you to get the wrong end of the stick. C ya

I find myself listening to this quite regularly when I was chilling in Goa. Jim did an awesome job on it, so fresh and interesting. Not to mention, he completely re-arranged it, from the time I had given him the vocal takes before I left. In mumbai at moment and getting ready for the solo travel up north. Fingers crossed. Thanks to everybody. Goa blog post Cian

Hi James, Just caught this for the first time just now ... excellent song. It's so hard to get that professional production sound and you nailed it. Plus the song is good ... that helps a lot. The impression I'm left with is, this is what the Thompson Twins would sound like with today's technology. Hope that doesn't offend ... not meant to at all. I love this. I would love to see a video of nothing but this project playing in Sonar. I bet it would be cool as hell! Bub.

Well, at first I chuckled....at your comment that 'it's a bit different.' Because it seems that all your tracks are a bit different...from each other and from the norm. :) Always top notch, though, no matter what category. Anyway, this isn't something I listen to regularly, but you guys are both great. Cian, all the best on your world tour. Wow! Jim, glad you're back in business!

That other tune, Teofilo, has ten times more. And I was a big fan of TT in college. That "King For One Day" track was some catchy siht. Good to see you around again, Philip. We miss you. Thanks for the nice words. I tried to get some real nightmare imagery in there but the tune was too sweet to convey it.
