Sorry ... an on topic Sonar related question. Doh! :)
Ok, Sharke ... since I tried doing the User Account thing ... none of my projects will stop playing at the end now. Even new ones I create with 1 track and no envelopes. Any thoughts? Format? Reinstall Sonar, Windows, reset and redo all the various BIOS's?

I'm not at my computer now so can't try it out, but my first thought is this is unlikely to be a user account related problem. Can't say I've ever experienced it but I definitely had seen threads upstairs that ask about the same thing so probably worth Googling it.

Google, is there anything it can't do. :) It's really weird. This happens every once in a while to some folks ... there's got to be a setting somewhere that triggers this. Something I set somewhere that I'm not associating with this. It's not a big deal at all really. The audio engine is running anyway whether it's playing or not. I thought there was a way to turn that off when you weren't playing a project, but I can't find that setting, so I must have been dreaming it.

I don't understand... Track View menu > Options > Stop at Project End isn't working? As far as the audio engine I thought it stayed on unless you click the Audio Engine button in the Transport Module. I'm obviously misunderstanding as usual. :-/

Hi, craig. Just don't wanna rock any boats. I apparently do that sometimes so felt it best if I just stick to the business of asking and occasionally answering questions. Ya'll are a good lot though. I come down and enjoy a silent chuckle from time to time. Cheers.

I just had a song do that day before yesterday. Not a new project; it's been played hundreds of times. It got to the end... and didn't.
