You know I was wondering why that list was all screwy. I kept looking for some obvious names but they weren't there. Then I realized it's not a list of musicians. It's a list of singers.

Take that as you will.

What the heck is Jimmy Buffet doing??????? I suspect a fix because there's no way he's pulling down that kind of coin unless he bought out KFC with the money he made from Margaritaville.

Nice to see Phil Collins on there. Never really been much of a fan but I was watching some old Genesis videos on YouTube recently and it really hit me what a fantastic vocalist he is.

The story goes that when Peter left the band and they were auditioning for a replacement, that Phil would sing the songs to show how they wanted it done but none of those that tried out sounded as good as Phil did.  I like stories like that.

My net worth is $47.23.

If my calculations are accurate.

I could off by a couple of dollars depending on the actual vale of a couple of old pair of fruit of the loom. I'll leave that to the finance adjudicator and my lawyers.

Jimmy Buffett #3 400 mill!

The list is a complation of all their money not just from singing/songwriting.
So maybe his restaurant chain had a big helping hand in that.

Hi,

I can't think of a list that I wold rather love to see completely retired! ... that is ... all it's members should give up the life of music ... they have done enough and we're tired of them, and it's time for their children or someone else to take over.

As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!
