In X2 if you start to edit, the scrolling stops. To restart scrolling right-click on the timeline.

In X2 if you start to edit, the scrolling stops. To restart scrolling right-click on the timeline.
And if you don't like that feature, you can toggle it by choosing Options > Click Behavior > Left Click Locks Scroll from the Track view menu.

    V helpful Scott.

I have been wondering whether there was a better way of doing it than scroll lock. My prv view was always a nightmare to edit and never stopped when I edited.  I gave up asking on here for one reason or another.

Now I know why my prv view acted like a game of frogger and it doesn't anymore .

    Thanks again.

it is strange there isn't, besides the scroll lock button on your keyboard, a button on the screen to stop scrolling, at least there isn't one in Sonar 7
