yorolpal Bub ... as long as you pay him. ... I actually got to know ol Jim way before he built me a DAW. I was bein the dimbulb end user stand in as a beta tester for his drum package (which is also very good BTW). That's pretty cool. :) I'm tempted to swing for the Brushes drum package he's offering. It's very hard to find an in depth brush sample kit like that. I listened to the demo and it sounds great. I need to know how it works with Session Drummer 3. It's right up my alley with all the country stuff I dabble in.

I never noticed that before... so, what is the difference between K2, HAL, and Gig in the choices? I've never seen that either. J

OH I si... KONTAKT, GIGA, HALion FORMATS but I still don't know if they would work with SD3, EZD, or BFD Eco. I used to have some form of Gigastudio that came with some version or other of Sonar but I could never get it to work... but I think i still have the CDR it came on. Thanks for the heads up... if they will work for me I will probably buy them just because like and want to support DD. You should make some samples Bub... maybe some banjo and dobro. I could use them. J

speaking of what`s offered i see Nuendo 5 is available for $1800.00!
that`s over 4 times the price of X2 but it never seems to come up in daw comparisons. do you get 4 times the bugs with Nuendo or do you get what you pay for? . just curious.

bapu Jonbouy btw who are Lehman brothers and why shouldn't I blame them? Beagle would pronounce that Rehman Bros. [pedantic] I believe that would be "Rehman Blos." (Just sayin'...) [/pedantic]

Guys, I have many responsibilities... and get pulled in many directions. FWIW, I run X2a and like it a lot. I simply need to update the website. There's nothing more to it than that.

Jonbouy spacey Frustration is nothing. I've had zippers bother me more. I know an expert on zippers btw. LOL....me too! Bub you didn't take anything away :) Honestly I'm sorry I ever mentioned X2 sucking for me. The only good that came out of it was seeing how supportive the folks here are and I already knew that. Think I'll go play with my zipper. Thanks Jim. That's all I needed to hear.

So ... can we use the samples in SD3? Hey Bub, I would have ported the samples a LONG time ago... but SFZ format doesn't have a full/dedicated editor. The process of assembling an advanced sample library is tedious under the best of circumstances. I don't have the time/patience to get into mapping samples via text file.
