Dimension Pro stops working In X2

Hello, I have a problem with Dimension Pro. It works for couple of minutes after a project is open but then mysteriously just quits. If the project is closed and reopened it works again but then shortly quits again. Any ideas, thanks glc

I would like to see if this is with just that project, or with all projects.

    Can you:

    1.  Start a new project
    2.  Insert Dim Pro to the synth rack - no simple instrument
    3.  Connect Dim Pro to an audio and a midi track (if not done in insert synth)
    4.  Select the midi track and open Step Sequencer
    5.  Click on a bunch of the boxes in Step Sequencer to get some midi notes recorded
    6.  While still in Step Sequencer, click on the Play button (triangle) top of screen

The idea of the above is to get a nice clean new project with Dim Pro, record, and then have the clip play back endlessly in the Step Sequencer, just to see if it dies after a couple of minutes or if it keeps going.  The Play button in Step Sequencer will just keep looping through that Step Sequencer clip over and over again.

    Thanks,

    Bob Bone

Select the midi track that is output to DP and open the Event list. Delete any NRPNs or RPNs. Close Sonar and restart.

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.

     Solved
I determined that my midi guitar pedal was causing the problem, I unplugged it and now it's fine. Probably an erroneous signal or setting. Sometimes you can over look the obvious, I left the rest of the behaviors I posted on this message before the fix below in case any one else runs into this. Thanks for help. glc

I opened a new project and ran Dim Pro through the step sequencer  and it quit after about one minute, notes are still registering however on the vu meter next to the track inspector volume control but there is no sound, sound from other tracks and soft synths is fine. Another aspect to this behavior is that if you move the volume control on the track inspector it will come back on momentarily. Moving the volume control makes it seems as if there were a electric short which makes no sense with computer software. The event list contains only the one note that I put in the step sequencer. Also I have already uninstalled and reintalled Dimension Pro. Thanks for the help, let me know if anyone has more ideas. Many Happy Returns, glc
