Piano roll view no longer opens to now time.

I saved the song and opened it in S8.5 and it opened to the now time as usual in 8.5

Funny thing.  After opening the file in X2, it opened to the now time exactly twice, and then stared opening the piano roll at the beginning of the track.

If this isn't a bug, please help!  Can you specify how the piano roll opens?

Thanks guys,

Ian

EDIT: hmmm...  I may have misunderstood the problem.
My answer is if you are talking about doubleclicking on a midi clip in TV.

    It's a known issue.

A couple of things you can do.
    1. press SPACEBAR to start playback, and then SPACEBAR again to stop.
    or
    2. Do not have the PRV maximized so that the project timeline is visible. Left click in the project timeline and the PRV timeline will update.

I prefer to use the second method myself.

    Thanks kevo,

Thanks for the work-arounds.  If it's a know issue, I wonder why they didn't fix it in the revision?

I've been using PRV a lot and I honestly don't remember it being an issue till yesterday.

Another buggy thing that's been driving me crazy, is that when you click on a clip, it only intermitently updates the inspector.  IE, if I want to rename or change the groove properties of a clip in the inspector, I'll often have to click on a clip 3 times before it becomes the active clip in the inspector.  X2 still seems buggy and inelegant in a number of ways.

    Thanks much,

    Ian
