Someone walk me through this, please !!

Hi,
I bought Maschine at Christmas, I can use it a bit, long learning curve, I would love
to be able to use it properly in Sonar, I'm using it as VST, can see the meter moving and can
see the meter moving in the master bus, but no sound !!!
I've tried every combination I can think of, please, someone must be using Maschine in Sonar X2
I'm obviously close to getting this thing working, where am I going wrong ?
I've looked at the Sonar knowledge base, I've looked at youtube videos (can't find one that
relates to Maschine and Sonar, Cubase, FL, Ableton, but not Sonar) hope someone can ease this
frustration !!!!!!!!!

Thanks
John

May be a bit of an obvious response, but have you set the output from your master bus, has caught me out more than once!!!

    I did a quick search:

Try the above - if you need more, there are other posts as well.  All I did was Google the terms Sonar and Maschine.

CPFC1985 may be right, I use Maschine in pretty much the same environment as you do John, and haven't experienced what you are seeing. I can't see what else could be wrong.

As an aside, I find that it is generally easier to work outside of SONAR, completing the general framework for the tune in Maschine first (I use it primarily for beats only due to Maschine's single core restrictions) and then opening that finished Maschine project within SONAR (using the small drop down menu next to Maschine's browser button).

Also, watch out for recording with metronome count ins, it throws Maschine off for some reason.
