Are you still on the demo? There are some sample projects that come with the full version for various methods. The tutorials in the manual take you through them. They are pretty basic though. More to just get you oriented with the program. Still neat to muck around with though if you deviate from the lesson plan.

I think there are sample projects (like demos) included in the installation of Sonar,

Maybe in some tutorial files too ?

This could be a good start !

Otherwise, maybe the best projects you could mix are your own ?

    Cheers !

Ya. I just slapped together a bunch of different songs of different styles using different elements of the program (and some of the third party stuff I bought) then went to town on them referring to X1 Power and the various vids out there (Sonar University, FBB, Craig Anderton, etc...).

Yes still on the demo. However the full blown app is on the brown truck out for delivery as we speak.   Forgot about the fact that this comes with some tutorials.  Will go though those.  I've purchased many of the Groove3 videos. I think I have a general feel for the app, just wanted something to play with while I continue to try and take my guitar riffs from ideas and single riffs to full songs.

There are heaps of Multi track sessions here from SOS Mike Senior's website:

    http://www.cambridge-mt.com/ms-mtk.htm

Quality of the music is very good
    Many genres to play with
MP3's let you hear a quick mix before you download any multis
Good luck and get to it!

On the off chance you don't know what that means it is the universal emoticon for metal. It is meant to resemble the "goathorn" hand gesture.
