Is it Ok to install Rapture Minimoog expansion pack from 2008 on x2a win 8 system?

    should be OK. Rapture still runs in X2a under WIN 8. 32 or 64 bit should be OK.

    You might want to have a look at this: New Rapture Expansion Pack Installers for Windows!
    ... This includes the free expansion packs as well as the paid ones.  This new installer should help to address any issues related to installing expansion packs over the version of Rapture included with SONAR X2 Producer.

    Yeah, that is what I was wondering about. There is no mention or sign of the mini moog expansion pack let alone updated installers though.

    Hoping Craig Anderton might shed some light.

    I've installed a couple of free expansion packs for Rapture, including the old Muz3um pack. They're working fine on X2a Win 7. The updated installer that you linked to is for the free Cakewalk expansion packs. It takes the data and program files for the Cakewalk expansion pack and loads it to the correct place on your computer. This won't work for you since you want to use a different expansion pack. Just follow the instructions for the Minimoog expansion pack and you should be fine.
