Cakewalk V Studio 100 at Sam Ash for $299.00

Sam Ash is closing out their supply of the V 100's at $299 until sold out.  Plus, thru Sun, you can get another $40 taken off by getting the Presidents Day code on the main page plus free Fed Ex ground shipping and no tax (for Nevada anyway).
 
I ordered one today for the total price of $249.
 
I thought I would let the forum know if anyone else is interested.

    I had one...they're awesome....

    My only complaint was it only went to 96 Khz Sample Rate...
    and it wasn't a complaint.  That's plenty...

    But the Quad goes to 192, which I have now....

    I loved the VS 100 though.....it was great...but 
    ran into a cash crunch and had to let it go...

    I really want one, but I just can't justify the cost. Recording is not my focus in life. It's for fun and mostly for recording my guitar riffs and adding bass and drum tracks.

    Just an update.   As I stated in my first post, I ordered my V 100 on Friday morning.  Sam Ash sent it to Fed Ex Friday afternoon.  It is coming from Florida and will be in Las Vegas for delivery on Thursday.  Not bad for free shipping and 1 day order and ship.

    The built in effects are decent.
    The control surface works well.
    It works stand alone too, with an SD Card (only up to 48 Khz IIRC)
    And will record up to 96Khz Sample Rate.

    I really don't know why they didn't give this the 192 Khz Rate...but
    96 is more then acceptable...

    It's a beast...and has a small footprint...
