Well, you got me with this one, as I'm a sucker for cellos and an even bigger sucker for my favorite songbird, Julianna.  Really interesting thematic backdrop for her to weave her vocal magic around... had an almost mideastern or Byzantine kind of feel to it.  A great listen for me... enjoyed very much.

This one kept me on the edge of my seat.  I love this production from the beginning to the end.  Julianna's  voice was the coup de grace.

    All the best,

Orchestration is really well done.   You obviously put a lot of time and effort into this.  The details are outstanding.  I too, would be interested to know what you used for Orchestration.  It sounds very pro.

I am going to risk hurting some feelings here. I adore Jules. I think she is a great person, and a dedicated songstress. But her voice is challenging to mix. Sadly Jules suffers a lack of natural resonance and timber in some ranges, and it is my opinion that she tries to compensate with vibrato. The engineer has to create those harmonic overtones artificially, and flatten the vibrato. I have yet to hear her voice mixed correctly (this is not meant as an insult to you).

It needs pitch correction. It is not about being in perfect key, it needs to be pitched to match the instrumentations used (she is not doing it naturally herself and often her pitch is forcing the songs key out of range). I think the vocal track is also too dry for her voice. I might try a delay effect or some convolution verb. I also think most people are cutting to deeply into the low end of her vox. Her natural timbre is in the lower spectrum.

I am sincerley uncomfortable making these critiques, and the sad truth is it is not specifically your fault Eko. It is ours for coddling our charished songstress perhaps too much. I have held back on a half dozen recent songs with her vocals, but this time... I had to speak up.

(I am sorry Jules, please don't hate me).

I'm an amateur for sure but I must agree the vocal comes across as less important (thin?) than some of the other instruments.
On second thought, perhaps as a Bond theme this might be fine as in this form, it's not really supposed to be a chart song?

"I am going to risk hurting some feelings here." always an honest opinion, without being rude. There's something to be Shad for that?

Thankyou TB19 yes I was rather exited at the time and thought of a plot to a new Bond-movie with the name By all means - I even tried to get some attention from the filmmakers but Broccoli was quiet.

I think you hear things that I dont maybe its all about a bad mix? Nevertheless I can not agree with you upon Julis voice I think it is fantastic. But again you might be right I dont hear it anyway so no hard feelings from me you had to speak out your impression and thats allright.
